Join The Arts At Page Library during the month of February for their annual African American History month celebration, hosted at Inman E. Page Library. Stop by the library and pick up a commemorative postcard featuring the poem, “I Too”, by Langston Hughes. All events are held on Wednesdays throughout the month and are free and open to the general public.
The Arts At Page Library, Arts and Culture Advisory Committee had the opportunity of participating in a national co-celebration event to honor the opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American Culture and History on September 24, 2016. The arts organization screened the grand opening for its potential members and introduced a new Smithsonian NMAACH sponsored traveling exhibition that will be housed at Inman E. Page Library in spring 2017, For All People. View the entire dedication ceremony below and learn more about the exhibition that will commemorate the new museum’s opening at our library art space.
