Angela Davis and Toni Morrison: Literacy, Libraries and Liberation

In Spring of 2016, The Arts At Page Library had the opportunity to screen this captivating talk between two advocates for change in our society regarding literacy, libraries and liberation. The New York Public Library brought Toni Morrison and Angela Davis together, and they hold nothing back during their conversation about the impact of having access to a library and how the cultural institution changed their lives as writers, leaders, and women forever. We wanted to share this important conversation with our audience again.
